Spotlight on Fourfront Group’s partnership with the Swiss-owned business to introduce agile working in its Barcelona office.
The client has been creating fragrances and flavours for the world’s most desirable brands for over 120 years. With over 63 facilities around the globe, it was important that the new Barcelona office reflected the company’s standing as the leading name in the industry. The workplace also had to promote its brand and culture, as well as align with its international office standards.
The occupants of two buildings – around 200 people – were moved to a new space in a three-storey building. Fourfront Group’s design & fit-out company Area, together with the group’s workplace consultancy company 360 Workplace, guided the client through the big cultural change involved in the relocation. Used to singular offices and pockets of small teams situated on different floors, the new agile workspace features open-plan neighbourhoods with meeting rooms and phone booths.
